What is Custom Tagging?

Think of a tag as your personal scout. You give it a name, pick a color, choose what you're betting on — Home Runs, 2+ Total Bases, Doubles, or Triples — and then set the criteria that matters to you — or choose from HomerunPredict predefined criteria. Power score, barrel rate, pitcher vulnerability, model probability, value vs. the market, and more… it's your call.

Once you've created a tag, our model does the rest. Every day, it checks the entire slate and flags the players who meet your criteria — no manual searching required. Want to add new tags or update and tweak your existing tag criteria? We got you! Tag changes and newly created tags are applied in real-time.

It's the difference between searching for your edge and having it delivered to you.

Your Tags, Everywhere You Look

Here's where it gets fun. Once a tag is live, its colorful label shows up right next to any player who qualifies — across all your favorite boards.

Scanning the Home Runs model? Your tags are there. Browsing Extra Base Hits, Barrel Zone, or HR Regression? There too. Even on the betting tools — Odds Comparison, EV Opportunities, Sharp Opportunities, and Parlay Builder — your tags ride along, so your personal criteria follow you everywhere you research.

Found a Play You Love? Star It ⭐

Tagging is about criteria. But sometimes you just see a play and know it's the one. That's what Starred Plays are for.

Tap the star next to any player to add them to your shortlist for today's slate. Your stars live in a handy floating tray that travels with you across the app, so your favorite plays for the day are always one click away.

A few things to love about stars:

Built for today. Stars are tied to the day's slate, so you start each morning with a clean slate (pun intended) and build your card fresh.
Always with you. The tray follows you from board to board.
One tap to remove. Changed your mind? Un-star it from anywhere the star is displayed.

You can even star players directly from your Custom Tagging page — right from the list of players a tag just surfaced.

Head to Custom Tagging in the menu.
Click New Tag or apply a Suggested preset, and customize it with a name, color, bet type, and your own criteria — or use our presets straight out of the box.
Save your tags — and watch them light up, matching players across every board.
See a play you love? Star it for today's slate and add it to a parlay using the Parlay Builder.
